Man Wearing Hillary Mask Robs Bank

Sterling VA, Dec 29, 2010. An armed robber wearing a Hillary Clinton mask robbed a Sterling Virgina bank on Dec. 27.

The man walked into the Wachovia bank in Community Plaza about 9:14 a.m., approached a teller, brandished a firearm and demanded cash, according to Loudoun County sheriff’s office reports.

The robber then fled the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The bank did not report the robbery for two full days, bank manager Thomas L. Williams told us "because we thought it was the real Hillary Clinton. And just assumed she needed some cash."

Sterling Virginia is located in a heavily Democrat part of the Northern Virginia near DC, and the bank manager and employees were reluctant to notify the police about any crime committed by a Clinton. "We just assume the Clintons have a right to steal" Williams told us.

"It was pretty common back during the Clinton years, for Bill or Hillary Clinton to drop by any time they needed some cash. So we didn't think anything of it," Assistant Manager Evelyn Collins said.

"The Clintons never bothered with any checks or paperwork, they just helped themselves to the cash drawer, so we were used to it. I suppose we should have suspected something was wrong when Hillary had a gun. She never did that before."

But this time it wasn't a real Clinton, just another criminal wearing a Hillary Clinton mask.

Authorities are asking anyone who was in the area of the Community Plaza or the Towncenter Plaza at Route 7 and Dranesville Road between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 27 and saw anything suspicious to contact  the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475.
