Former President Grateful: Not Blamed For Shooting

Crawford TX, Jan 9, 2011. Former President George W. Bush,R-USA,  expressed gratitude today that he isn't being blamed by the media for the tragic shooting in Tuscon AZ yesterday.

"This is really an unexpected and welcomed change," he told us.

"Normally, when anything goes wrong in the nation, the media and the leftwing pundits are quick to blame me. But this time they are blaming that girl from Alaska. Sarah something."

"And I am pretty sure she had absolutely nothing to do with it. But it's her problem now. Her and that Glen Beck fellow. Let them see how it feels to get blamed for everything."

Former President Bush was recently blamed for snowstorms in the northeast and fish and birds dying in various places around the world. Current President Barack Hussein Obama, D-Kenya, continues to blame Bush for the failure of all his economic policies.

Fish killed by President Bush
Just last week Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, blamed Bush for the Democrats loss in the November election.

Bush has been blamed for events as varied as global warming, the Indonesian tsunami, the fact that the GM Hummer gets only 11 mpg, and the cancellation of the TV program "West Wing."

But this time it seems Bush has a solid alibi. He had his hands full causing ecological damage to fish and birds all over the earth.

"It's really a refreshing change to see someone else getting blamed for things they had absolutely nothing to do with," former President Bush told us.

"This probably is a sign that I am less relevant than I used to be. I suppose this just happens after you retire," he added philosophically.

The former president's new book is the #1 seller on the NY Times Best Selling Books list, causing a great deal of discomfort for both the radical left and the NY Times.

  1. I hope you realize that book is a novel. In other words "fiction."

In any case, I fail to see how any of this has any bearing on the story above.
