Tuscon AZ, Jan 13, 2011. At yesterday's Memorial Service for the shooting victims, President Barack Hussein Obama, D-Kenya, used the opportunity to further polarize and divide the nation.
This was in keeping with Democrat party strategy to pit groups against each other.
They play old against young, black against white, gays against straights, women against men, and of course "everyone" against the rich.
The event was sponsored by a previously unknown group called "Together We Thrive." An internet search will reveal very little about this group, other than some general sense that they are "for something good" although there is no website or any stated agenda.
Every seat in the 14,000 seat arena had a free blue tee shirt with the "Together We Thrive" logo and slogan on it. Rather than memorializing the victims, the President chose to promote this new group.
All we know so far is there seems to be a love affair between this unknown group and President Barack Hussein Obama. One wonders if this isn't ACORN in another form? Since ACORN declared bankruptcy, surely all their community organizers didn't disappear? They had to go someplace.
"Together We Thrive: Tucson and America" was the theme for last night's memorial/presidential pep rally.
When was the last time you went to a memorial service that had its own theme and tee-shirts, and a wildly inappropriate theme at that: “Together We Thrive”. Michelle Malkin called it a “bizarre pep rally.”
Six people died at that shopping center. Thirteen others were badly injured, and one of the dead was a nine year old girl. And the President gave a speech about “thriving?" No one is really thriving here, except the reelection campaign for Barack Hussein Obama. Which formally began yesterday at this alleged memorial service.
Odds are "Together We Thrive" will be Obama's 2012 Campaign theme, and this pep rally was just a way to kick it off.
Right now, all we know for certain is that the shooter Jared Lee Loughner was a leftwing radical anarchist who had been stalking Congresswoman Giffords for over four years. We know that his friends described him as a leftwing radical, who never listened to TV or radio. And we also know that President Obama didn't mention the shooter one time in his long winded speech.
We also know that the media began to blame the shooting on "talk radio and Sarah Palin" before the first ambulance arrived at the scene.
Although there was absolutely no evidence to support this, it just seemed like the politically correct thing to do. This is the tone President Obama has set for the radical left, by blaming all his own failures on President Bush. We now have "government by finger pointing."
Not very classy, but what do you expect from people who have nothing else to offer? Whenever anything goes wrong, they blame someone. They don't fix things or prevent things from happening, they just wait for something bad to happen... then blame someone. And 100% of the time the blame falls on someone else. Usually a political opponent.
And we also know that the Democrat Sheriff Clarence Dupnik immediately blamed the tragedy on "The kind of rhetoric that flows from people like Rush Limbaugh."
Dupnik characterized Limbaugh as the sort of person who "attacks people, angers them against government, angers them against elected officials and that kind of behavior in my opinion is not without consequences."
Sheriff Dupnik had absolutely no evidence to support this theory, but one thing we do know for sure... is he made absolutely no attempt to provide any security at the event.
So if anyone is to blame here, we probably should start with the shooter, then throw in the Sheriff for failing to do his job properly.
