President Obama will occasionally visit a Christian Church

Washington DC, Jan 15, 2012. If you needed some proof that the 2012 Presidential campaign is in full swing, then you finally have it.

President Barack Hussein Obama, D-Kenya, and his family went to church this morning for the third time in a month.

Whenever there is an election, President Obama works hard to demonstrate that he is a Christian, and not a Muslim, as many people suspect. In fact, it is the only time he ever attends church.

The President and his family were frequent church goers when they lived in Chicago and attended a liberation theology church headed by close family friend Rev. Jerimiah Wright. But that "church" was more of an anti-American cult, that stressed hatred for America rather than any love of Christ.

Wright earned a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago Divinity School with a focus on Islam.

During the 2008 presidential election campaign, Barack Obama came under increasing criticism for attending Wright's "God Damn America" Church for over 20 years. At first, Obama denied that the church was blatantly anti-American, but later claimed "he wasn't paying attention during the sermons and didn't realize Wright was preaching hatred of our nation."

Eventually, Barack Obama resigned from the church, which improved his chances of being elected considerably.

Obama has rarely gone to church since becoming president. But last month he and his family attended services at St. John’s Church. They attended Christmas services at a Marine Base in Hawaii and today were at Zion Baptist Church in DC.

After the President resigned from Rev. Wright's Black Liberation Church, he said he would find another church to attend in Washington DC. After almost four years he hasn't found one yet, although he does randomly attend Christian church services during election campaigns.

President Obama is our first and only President who can quote from "The Holy Qu'ron" from memory, and can do it in fluent Arabic.

This is probably because he was raised as a Muslim, had a Muslim father and stepfather, and he attended a Madrassas School in Indonesia as a young child, where the Islamic religion was taught.  Much later in life, Barack Obama began attending Christian churches largely for political reasons.

While it’s possible the recent trips to church a part of some kind of renewed personal religious commitment, they are also consistent with Obama’s increased use of religious imagery as part of his public profile.

During two recent annual events – the televised Christmas in Washington gala and the lighting of the National Christmas Tree, Obama invoked specifically Christian themes he had shunned in the past.

The Christian narrative is appealing to a key demographic that fled Democrats en masse during the 2010 midterm election – white working class voters.

Obama will need to convince people in critical swing states like Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, and other states that he is indeed a Christian.

Obama Spends Hundreds of Millions Saving Mosques

Washington DC, Jan 14, 2012. President Barack Hussein Obama, D-Kenya, is continuing and expanding his program to spend American tax money to rebuild and refurbish Islamic Mosques in the Middle East.

At a time when the USA is dead broke, and racking up $1.5 trillion annual deficits, you have to wonder why President Obama's State Department is being so generous with our tax money abroad. We are essentially borrowing money from China, so we can spend it helping out hostile nations abroad. And our grandchildren will have to pay that money back with interest.

Obama's State Department tells us they are rebuilding Mosques in order to improve our relationship with radical Islam. But we have seen absolutely no evidence of any improvement in this area. If anything, the more we do for them, the more we are hated.

This is one Obama policy that has failed miserably. Just like all the others have.

The Obama sycophants will be quick to point out that this policy wasn't started by President Obama. And they will be technically correct. But it was Obama who expanded it greatly and continues to pour hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer money into it.

You also have to wonder what the ACLU would say if our government was pouring millions into "restoring Catholic Churches" or "restoring Jewish Synagogues." If we did that, then they would be howling about separation of church and state. And they would be demand that we stop publicly funding projects of a religious nature.

President Compares Tea Party to Occupy Movement

Recently President Barack Hussein Obama, D-Kenya, sat down for an exclusive interview with ABC News Nightline‘s Jake Tapper.

During the interview the President said that the Tea Party Protests and OWS Movement are more similar than they may even realize.

“I understand the frustrations that are being expressed in those protests. In some ways, they’re not that different from some of the protests that we saw coming from the Tea Party, both on the left and the right."

Is the President right about this? Is the Tea Party and the OWS protesters very similar?

Obama Gets Heat for Lavish White House Party

Washington DC, Jan 9. 2012. According to the new book “The Obamas,” by New York Times correspondent Jodi Kantor, tells us about the lavish Halloween party that the President and his wife hosted at the White House in 2009. It was so over the top that “Star Wars” creator George Lucas sent the original Chewbacca to mingle with invited guests.

Up until this book was released, the party was kept a top secret, because the President didn't want the public to know about his lavish lifestyle while so many people were unemployed and living on food stamps.

Somehow, even the media cooperated and never reported this opulent fete over two years ago.

And that is the real outrage. It's not that Obama threw himself a lavish and expensive party, while the nation was suffering in a deep recession... it's that the media knew about it and kept their lips sealed for over two full years. This is an unprecedented alliance between the media and the White House. Even FDR didn't get this kind of special treatment from the press during World War II.

Had President GW Bush done this, the media would have had three inch headlines saying "INSENSITIVE AND ARROGANT" and Nancy Pelosi would be screaming for investigations, hearings and special commissions to get to the bottom of it.

All pretext of objectivity is completely gone now. The press is now shilling for President Obama and will protect him whenever they can. They never treated President Clinton this well. They reported every misdeed, bribe and scandal during Clinton's two terms. Every pardon sold was duly reported.  But President Obama is different. He gets special treatment

The White House party was themed as an “Alice in Wonderland” costume ball , and was put on by Johnny Depp and Hollywood director Tim Burton.

Jodi Kantor's book reveals how any official announcement of the glittering affair, coming at a time when Tea Party activists and voters furious over the lagging economy, 10-percent unemployment rate, bank bailouts and Obama’s health-care plan were staging protests, quickly vanished down the rabbit hole.

“White House officials were so nervous about how a splashy, Hollywood-esque party would look to jobless Americans — or their representatives in Congress, who would soon vote on health care — that the event was not discussed publicly and Burton’s and Depp’s contributions went unacknowledged,” the book says.

However, the White House made certain that more humble Halloween festivities earlier that day, for thousands of Washington-area schoolkids, were well reported by the press corps.

Then the Obamas went inside, where an invitation-only affair for children of military personnel and White House administrators unfolded in the East Room.

Unbeknownst to reporters, the State Dining Room had also been transformed into a secretive White House Wonderland.

Tim Burton decorated it “in his signature creepy-comic style. His film version was about to be released, and he had turned the room into the Mad Hatter’s tea party, with a long table set with antique-looking linens, enormous stuffed animals in chairs, and tiered serving plates with treats like bone-shaped meringue cookies,” reports the book, which The Post purchased at a Manhattan bookstore.

“Fruit punch was served in blood vials at the bar. Burton’s own Mad Hatter, the actor Johnny Depp, presided over the scene in full costume, standing up on a table to welcome everyone in character.” 

The President goes trick or treating.

The Obamas’ daughters, Malia and Sasha, then 11 and 8 respectively, “sat at the table, surrounded by a gaggle of their friends, and then proceeded to the next delight, a magic show in the East Room.”

Kantor’s book details more personal aspects of the Obama White House, serving up glimpses of the first couple’s marriage, parenting, sometimes tense handling of staff issues and even the president’s sly sense of humor when it comes to race.

How Gun Control Really Works

Kennesaw GA, Jan 6, 2012. Almost 25 years ago, the small town of Kennesaw GA. in response to a handgun ban in Morton Grove, IL  unanimously passed an ordinance requiring each head of household to own and maintain a gun.

Since then, despite dire predictions of “Wild West” showdowns and increased violence and accidents, not a single resident has been involved in a fatal shooting – as a victim, attacker or defender.

The crime rate initially plummeted for several years after the passage of the ordinance, with the 2005 per capita crime rate actually significantly lower than it was in 1981, the year before passage of the law.

Prior to enactment of the law, Kennesaw had a population of just 5,242 but a crime rate significantly higher (4,332 per 100,000) than the national average (3,899 per 100,000). The latest statistics available – for the year 2005 – show the rate at 2,027 per 100,000. Meanwhile, the population has skyrocketed to 28,189.

By comparison, the population of Morton Grove, the first city in Illinois to adopt a gun ban for anyone other than police officers, has actually dropped slightly and stands at 22,202, according to 2005 statistics. More significantly, perhaps, the city’s crime rate increased by 15.7 percent immediately after the gun ban, even though the overall crime rate in Cook County rose only 3 percent. Today, by comparison, the township’s crime rate stands at 2,268 per 100,000.

This was not what some predicted.

In a column titled “Gun Town USA,” Art Buchwald suggested Kennesaw would soon become a place where routine disagreements between neighbors would be settled in shootouts. The Washington Post mocked Kennesaw as “the brave little city … soon to be pistol-packing capital of the world.” Phil Donahue invited the mayor on his show.

Police Lt. Craig Graydon said: “When the Kennesaw law was passed in 1982 there was a substantial drop in crime … and we have maintained a really low crime rate since then. We are sure it is one of the lowest (crime) towns in the metro area.” Kennesaw is just north of Atlanta.

“Since the Virginia Tech shootings, some conservative U.S. talk show hosts have rejected attempts to link the massacre to the availability of guns, arguing that had students been allowed to carry weapons on campus someone might have been able to shoot the killer.”

Virginia Tech, like many of the nation’s schools and college campuses, is a so-called “gun-free zone,” which Second Amendment supporters say invites gun violence – especially from disturbed individuals seeking to kill as many victims as possible.

A "gun-free zone" means that the victims aren't permitted to defend themselves, because the criminal is the only one who has a gun. By definition, criminals ignore the laws we write. Which is why they are criminals. 

If the presence of guns in the hands of honest citizens caused crime, then Kenneshaw's crime rate would have gone up, and Morton Grove's would have gone down.

But the exact opposite happened, and this tells us that the theory that "guns cause crime" is pure hogwash.

In fact, in this case it seems like guns have prevented crime.

50 Good Reasons Why The USA Needs New Leadership

Eighty percent (80%) of Likely U.S. Voters now say the country is heading in the wrong direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey taken the short holiday week ending Thursday, December 22. But despite this, many of them still intend to vote for President Barack Hussein Obama, D-Kenya, in this year's Presidential election.

This may be because they agree with his failed policies, or perhaps because their shop stewards ordered them to vote for the President.  In order to assist those who are unsure, I made a list of 50 good reasons why the nation desperately needs a change of leadership.

Seven Family Members Dead in Muslim Honor Killing

Grapevine TX, Jan 1, 2012. A Muslim father dressed as Santa Claus arrived to his family's Christmas party with two guns, executed his entire family and then killed himself, and planned the entire thing, police said Tuesday.

Aziz Yazdanpanah, an Iranian Muslim, didn't like his daughter's non-Muslim boyfriend and was exhibiting stalker behavior.

“She couldn’t date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn’t date anyone outside of their race or religion.”

Again and again we have seen honor killings in which fathers kill daughters who are dating non-Muslims or have supposedly besmirched the family honor by some sexual indiscretion. Lt. Todd Dearing says that motive isn't important, which is generally only the case when Islam is involved.

Police believe the Christmas Day massacre in which left seven people were murdered, while still surrounded by Christmas presents and wrapping paper, was premeditated, Police Sgt. Robert Eberling said.

Police confirm what family friends said Monday, that Azizolah "Bob" Yazdanpanah, 56, fired the fatal shots in the murder-suicide. Grapevine police identified the victims as his wife, Fatemah "Nasrin" Rahmati, 55; their daughter, Nargis "Nona" Yazdanpanah, 19; and their son, Ali Yazdanpanah, 14. Nasrin's sister, Zohreh Rahmati, 58; her husband, Mohamad Hossein Zarei, 59; and their daughter, Sahra Fatemah Zarei, 22; were also killed, police confirmed.

Police received a 911 call from an apartment in the 2500 block of Hall Johnson Road on Christmas morning. When officers arrived, they found the door locked from the inside, and the worst crime in Grapevine history.

Police recovered two weapons on the scene -- a Smith and Wesson 915 model 9 mm pistol with a 15-round magazine, and a Glock 23 .40-caliber pistol with a 10-round clip, according to Eberling.

Both guns were used in the murder-suicide, but Eberling would not say how many shots were fired; only saying that there were still bullets in both guns.

Last year, a bank foreclosed on Bob Yazdanpanah's house, and he separated from his wife in the March. Police had previously said a text message prior to the shooting indicated Bob Yazdanpanah was probably invited to the party, but police on Tuesday afternoon changed their story. Police now say Bob Yazdanpanah apparently was not invited.

At 11:16 a.m., one of the victims sent a text message to a friend indicating who was at the gathering at the apartment. The text message mentioned the gunman's name and that he was dressed as Santa. Police said there was no indication of fear or concern in the text. Eighteen minutes later, someone placed a call to 911 from a landline inside the apartment. Investigators could make out a muffled cry for help in the background, Eberling said.

All of the victims were found in the same room with no sign of a struggle, according to Eberling, but he said some of the victims had defensive wounds that indicate they tried to shield themselves from the bullets.
